Coaching

My coaching approach makes me an objective thinking partner for my clients. You can expect me to keep your goals front and centre and to challenge you to be accountable to yourself. Professionals wanting to find the purpose in their work and to develop the clarity and courage to work in alignment with their values and strengths will find their way with my genuine and committed partnership approach. People and organizations come to me when they're ready to create 'aha moments' and to put their thoughts into action.

My clients tell me I deliver the messages they most need to hear and which no one else is willing to share. My sincerity and optimism create an environment allowing you to think differently, to push past barriers and to unlock your hidden potential. My clients get into action and move forward. I help them move past analysis paralysis, design a vision, build a roadmap and move in the right direction.

What is Professional Coaching?

As described by the International Coach Federation (ICF), coaching is partnering with clients in a thought provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential, which is particularly important in today's uncertain and complex environment. As your coach, I honor you as the expert in your life and work and hold the belief that you are creative, resourceful and whole.  Standing on this foundation, my responsibility is to:

  • Discover, clarify, and align with what you want to achieve

  • Encourage your self-discovery

  • Elicit solutions and strategies generated by you

  • Hold you responsible and accountable

This process helps you dramatically improve your outlook on work and life, while improving your skills and unlocking your potential.

How can you determine if coaching is right for you?

To determine whether you could benefit from coaching, start by summarizing what you would expect to accomplish in coaching. When you have a fairly clear idea of the desired outcome, a coaching partnership can be a useful tool for developing a strategy for how to achieve that outcome with greater ease.

Since coaching is a partnership, ask yourself whether collaboration, other viewpoints, and new perspectives are valued. Also, ask yourself whether you are ready to devote the time and the energy to making real changes. If the answer is yes, then coaching may be a beneficial way to grow and develop.

Leadership Coaching

Effective leadership isn’t created by assigning a job title of Manager, Director or even CEO. It begins when you are fully engaged in the role, when you are working with a sense of purpose that is aligned with your personal passions, vision, values and strengths. It grows when you develop a strong and confident work style aligning what is important to you with business priorities. Effective leadership is at its best when you communicate with clarity, consistency, respect, and inspiration.

Leadership coaching is proven to assist leaders in creating the clarity and insight needed to consistently deliver outstanding results. I provide one-on-one coaching to leaders at all levels who each come to coaching with the objective of improving individual, team and organization performance. A leader’s coaching agenda typically includes topics such as:

  • Accelerating achievement of objectives

  • Navigating change

  • Increasing self-awareness

  • Leveraging strengths

  • Communicating effectively

  • Navigating difficult conversations

  • Managing conflict

  • Building a culture of trust

  • Integrating new training into daily practice

  • Achieving balance and reducing stress
